On the southern part of the property, south of the pool area directly in the vineyard, we have built an impressive whirlpool on the foundation of an old water cistern.
It sits enthroned in an exposed position and offers an incomparable sea view to the south.
The brick and hexagonal whirlpool tiled with mosaic tiles has enough space for a maximum of 6 people or a weight load of 500 kg.
It has a separate water and air bubble system and interior lighting.
The water hygiene is permanently automatically regulated with an automatic chlorine and pH dosing system.
We set the water temperature to a pleasant 35 degrees in spring/summer and to 38 degrees in autumn/winter, but a different temperature can also be requested on request.

cost of use
The costs consist of a one-off basic fee for the initial heating on the day of arrival of €20 and a consumption-based usage fee, currently €0.40 per kwh. The consumption refers to all electricity consumers required for the whirlpool. You can view the electricity meter at any time on this homepage in the password-protected area and therefore have full transparency at all times.
When using the whirlpool, the heating runs continuously from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in order to keep the desired water temperature constantly ready for use between 2:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. If desired, the heating period can be extended.
There are currently no consistent consumption values available, as the whirlpool has only been in operation since April 2023.
Previous empirical values per 24 hours (with night shutdown, whirlpool at target temperature approx. 2:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.):
April: 35 degrees approx. 41 kw
May: 35 degrees approx. 32 kw
June: 35 degrees about 30 kw 37 degrees about 40 kw
July: 35 degrees about 27 kw 37 degrees about 35 kw
Aug: 35 degrees about 27 kw 37 degrees about 35 kw
Activation, access and rules of use
If you want to use the jacuzzi, please let us know before arrival. Please note that if guests have not used the hot tub before you, the hot tub is not heated and the heating process may take approximately 24-36 hours.
