activities

Enjoy the Dolce Vita on the Riviera with all its leisure opportunities

Here are a few holiday ideas in alphabetical order

golfing with ocean view

In Germany, golf is often still considered elitist and expensive, but the clubs are often overcrowded and have little capacity for non-members. In Italy, the golf scene is still relatively young and guest players are usually welcome.

mountain biking with a panoramic view

The hinterland of Imperia is an El Dorado for mountain biking. There are tours of all levels of difficulty for self-drive and great guided adventure tours that offer beginners, adventurers and even gourmet tours.

Ride

The hinterland of the province of Imperia is ideal for horseback riding excursions with great views of the Maritime Alps and the Mediterranean Sea at any time of the year. There are a number of riding stables that offer courses for beginners and children as well as riding tours for all levels of experience

Cycle Directly at the sea

Imperia is right on the Pista Ciclabile. At 36 km, this new cycle path is one of the longest in Europe - and is constantly being expanded. The path runs on the old railway line Genoa-Ventimiglia (the railway was moved inland in 2001) and runs directly along the coast, often very close to the sea. Bikes can of course be hired.

restaurants to enjoy

In and around Imperia there are great restaurants in all price ranges, with your feet in the sand, a wonderful sea view or in the winding streets of the old town.

Italian lifestyle with scooters

Of course, a Vespa / scooter / scooter is part of a holiday in Italy like the salt in the soup.

Scooters up to 125 ccm can be driven with the German driver's license. This is completely sufficient for a coastal tour or a trip to the picturesque hinterland.

In Imperia there are scooters with classic combustion engines and electric drives to rent.

The Bolt scooters can also be booked via app for short tours.

relax at Beach

The Ligurian Riviera has many small bays and beaches with sand and pebbles that invite you to sunbathe, swim and relax. There are free (free) beaches and managed lidos that offer loungers, parasols and often excellent food.

Hike in the foothills of the Maritime Alps

In the hinterland of Imperia you can hike all year round. The thermometer almost never falls below zero, and even in January and February it often gets quite warm during the day - ideal for hiking with 300 days of sunshine.

water sports on the Mediterranean

Of course, there are offers for all classic water sports in Imperia:

- Motor boats with and without a license

- Sailboats and courses

- jet ski

- Surf and SUP courses and rentals

- Diving courses

In Italy you can rent and drive motor boats up to 40 hp with a car driver's license - with these you can be in Monte Carlo in an hour, for example, or to explore the offshore islands.

Fascinating whale watching

An unforgettable experience is the guided boat tour for whale watching that starts in the port of Imperia.
