In Germany, golf is often still considered elitist and expensive, but the clubs are often overcrowded and have little capacity for non-members. In Italy, the golf scene is still relatively young and guest players are usually welcome.
There are two 18-hole golf courses and one 9-hole golf course in the vicinity of Imperia. The mild climate with 300 days of sunshine invites you to play all year round.
Castellaro golf course
The very well maintained 9-hole par 33 golf course can be reached in 20 minutes in the direction of San Remo (to the west) and is open all year round. The course has a total length of 2200 meters and offers tees with panoramic views. The facility is located at about 150 meters above sea level and therefore has pleasant temperatures all year round.
Garlenda Golf Course
The 18-hole golf course near Alassio, about 30 minutes away in the direction of Genoa (to the east), is open to guests all year round and also offers rental equipment.

San Remo Golf Course
The well-known 18-hole golf course of San Remo, about 35 minutes away, is open to guests all year round and offers a great view of the sea and mountains. The official name is Circolo Gold deglie Ulivi and, as the name suggests, you play among beautiful olive trees.
