Motor boats with and without a license

In Italy you can drive boats up to 40 hp without a boat license. You will also have a lot of fun with this boat class. With such boats you can reach Monte Carlo with 6 people on the boat in 1.5 hours.

Of course you can also rent larger yachts - with the appropriate boat license alone, otherwise with a skipper.

Sailing boats with and without skipper

Especially in the spring and late year, the Riviera is a popular area for active sailing enthusiasts, even in summer a trip with a fresh breeze is a great thing. There is a wide range of charter companies with great sailing boats in and around Imperia. You can rent your own boat or just a day trip with a skipper to one of the offshore islands.

In the bay of Andora (about 25 minutes from Imperia in the direction of Alassio) you can rent jet skis from Lands Rent.

In contrast to Germany, adults in Italy do not need a sports boat license to drive jet skis with up to 40 hp.
